I have a query that pulls a list of countries. Right now it's ordered by country name or id.. which is ok. However, now I need to display USA then CANADA first.. followed by everything else. I sort of have this working with a union but can't get USA to display before CANADA because everything is sorted by name.

So i guess my question is.. Is there any way order to do an advanced ORDER BY so that selected rows can appear before anything else? If not, i'll just leave it the way it is right now.

You will need to include another column that indicates the sort order.
