Need test queries locally against a remotely hosted MS Access DB.

I don't have direct control over the remote site but can request settings and passwords, etc.

Does anyone know how to set this up?

Tks.

the only way i've been able to do this in the past was to setup a local DSN and put in the remote server info, but that was MySQL... with a mdb file that might be tricky because cfadmin makes me browse for the mdb file.
you're best bet might be to just download it (if it's possible).

I concur with the second notion of just downloading the bloody thing.

But if its changing frequently then I can understand.

i did some looking... it 'appears' you may be able to do it (or at least you could do it a long time ago)... a root canal looks less painful tho...
