I put in a ticket yesterday afternoon, and FTP access has also been down since then. They just replied to my ticket,

As you might be aware that we are migrating our servers to another datacenter, so we have taken down FTP and Control Panel down. This is because if you make any chages than it will not be sync with new server.

We are expecting to have everything working fine in next 12 hours from now. You will def. find the speed of the server fast and server uptime will be improved.

Thanks for co-operating and your patience.

so now I guess I just wait....

Rather unfortunate timing perhaps? Wink .
Regarding the move, they did issue a heads-up to existing customers a while ago, I seem to recall from one of their emails a while back.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I signed up for a plan with Hosting A to Z and it's been working really well.  I put in a support request to have a few tags and functions enabled and 30 minutes later it was done.  My home built content management system runs beautifully!  I was with Uplink Earth before and after a couple of years of pretty decent service, they started to fall off.  They also don't include cold fusion support on their cheapest plans for free anymore.  Hosting A to Z has a better webmail interface with built in spam filtering.  You can't beat the price!

It was a one line. Asking me for an example of the problem, not even a solution.

um...maybe they needed an example of the problem in order to be able to come up with a solution? Smile
