Looks pretty good to me. Are they reliable? ANyone had any probs?
It's coming down to them and anumina but the latter charge $5 pm for a static IP ( I need for a SSL cert, I think). Now, if only I could get anumina's personal plan disk space, traffic, and pop email accounts and the rest as per hostfolio's, I'd be set!

Anyone have any comments? Tks.

I was thinking (yes, even the worst of us do from time to time) what happens if a host falls over. I mean, how hard is it to point to new DNS's and get all the DB's back etc, etc. Is it an absolute nightmare? I can back-up the site and DB daily so will at most loose one day's worth of going's on. I then would have to deal with the SSL cert and somehow transfer over (get another CSR from the new host, if that's allowed), or do I loose the cert and the cost thereof?
Anyone been there done that and have some advice for when it all turns to custard?

I am curoius if anyone is using this host as well, any comments on how well they do?

I am looking also for a CF host with the following:
- Cheap: around $5/month
- Static IP
- MySQL DB
- Support doesn't have to be the best
- Uptime is not super important since i going to be building support sites to my main site host some where else.

Thanks!

Trust me son, you want to use Hostfolio! Its cheap, they give you everything you need and to be honest its the best deal around and trust me I've done my research. I used to be at BMC Limited which they were great but once I saw the deal for Hostfolio they also offered CFMX7 I just couldn't turn that down. They are great too when in need of help. Whenever I email them the majority of the time I get a response from support within an hour, sometimes even half an hour. Very impressive stuff. Only complaint is there Control Panel is to plain and would benefit from a much more user friendly setup.

Yeah its all the same company. When I get billed from Hostfolio it says Hostek. Either must be a new side name they use or Hostek is just their parent company, who knows, eiter way though its the same. I definitely recommend them. My only gripe is with their control panel.
