Hello People...

As you know, when you build dynamic pages, and when youre working with data from a database, you can not afford making updates  on, lets say,  20 records, when you only made changes on 5 of them...

Is there a way to perform this selective updating (on ColdFusion of course)??

any ideas would be appreciated!  Smile

If your tables have an identifier then you should be able to simply use the "WHERE" statement for selective updates:

Update myTable Set
value1 = newValue,
value3 = newValue
Where ID = 6

If I understand your question correctly.
