There are several free and very not so free applications that you can use to load test your application. Here is an article on it from adobe:

Also you may want to try a search on goggle using the following phrase:

"testing load on flex application"

There are a couple of things that can make or break an application when giving it a heavy load.
First and foremost is the actual code and secondly is the server equipment. You may want to test loads in a development environment then on the production.

hi guys i am developing a flex/cf app and i estimate that in the first year i will be having about 10000-100000 hits/day. the application is massive. so what do i need to make sure the the application does not crush if over 10000 or even 500000 pple access it at the same time? thanks
