i am trying to use Library item for the footer and the header of my cfm page. I get this error:
Invalid CFML construct found on line 112 at column 71.
ColdFusion was looking at the following text:
\"
**********************
Here is the link to the page:
http://www.naperville-lib.info/captcha/test2.cfm

Any idea? i couldn't find any answer on the web regarding this error. I was wondering if anybody has experienced the same problem.

is the following line inside cfoutput tags?
<!-- #BeginLibraryItem "/Library/test.lbi" --> all fitht reserved<!-- #EndLibraryItem -->

if so then coldfusion thinks what is between the 2 # is a variable

you can escape by

<!-- ##BeginLibraryItem "/Library/test.lbi" --> all fitht reserved<!-- ##EndLibraryItem -->

Thanks Megan, it worked.
Cool, the system by default puts # in front of the color tag inside html. Thanks once again.
