Has anyone here ever used the Cartweaver ColdFusion shopping cart program?  I'm trying to customize a certain part and am seeking some assistance.

Thanks,

MB

I've never used it, but maybe I can help anyways... what's the problem?

Thanks,

Well, I hope I can explain this without confusing myself!   Wink

The cart program does not have a field where a user enters a quantity when they add something to their cart.  They simply hit an "Add to Cart" button and have to hit that button until they reach the desired quantity of goods.

The client I am using this for wants to apply a discount when someone purchases more than one.  For example, the regular price of one of his photo prints is $48.00 each.  If someone buys two, then they price drops to $44.00 each.

The program populates a drop down list of the items and price for each SKU.

Here's an example: http://66.241.244.81/DetailsSelect.cfm?ID=Texas

I have it setup now to where they have two options.  The drop down list populates as:

12 X 36 (Size) | One Unframed | $48.00
12 X 36 | Two Unframed | $88.00 <---This is the $44.00 per piece discount, and etc., etc.

I want to set it up to where it just has:

12 X 36 | Regular | $48.00

12 X 36 | Framed & Matted | $136.00

like it is here: http://66.241.244.81/DetailsSelect.cfm?ID=Dallas

And when someone adds, say 2 of the regular ones, the code on the "View Cart" page looks to see at the quantity of prints, then apply the appropriate discount if possible.

I imagine I will have to create a couple additional fields in the database for the discount prices.

I hope I made myself clear.  Like I said, I can go on and on and end up confusing myself by the time I'm done.  If you want me to post the code on the "View Cart" or "Add to Cart" pages, let me know.  I'd be glad too.

Thanks a bunch in advance!

Have you tried to post this mod idea in the cartweaver forum? They are usually pretty fast with a solution for their customers.
