Hi there,

I am considering taking my website to Amazon EC 2, but my systems admin guy says that he would like to run Zentyal as our webserver.

My question is : Has anyone ever successfully run CFMX 7 on this flavor of linux?

We have successfully run CFMX 7.X on CENTOS 3.5X, but now we are looking for more flexibility.

Cheers!

Thanx in advance

Though I have not installed it on that version; I don't
see why you would have any issues... as long as you can
install and/or control the apache server you should be
ok.

HI Pablo - long time no hear! haha

Anyways, after almost a week of banging our heads on it, we have found that ZENTYAL is NOT compatible with Coldfusion mx7.x, no matter how hard we tried. We even investigated the library dependancies and updated the libraries.

We also tried a number of flavors, and found that Ubuntu 10x comes with some compatible stuff. CENTOS 3.5x and up seems to work atleast up to the level of serving pages.

I have another post that describes the issues in CENTOS 5.4
