Hello..
I'm trying to troubleshoot a link on two of my CF pages..(a small pdf library running MSSQl database)
On one page this link works:
href="testpage1.cfm?action=editorders&ID=#getSResults.id#&orderID=#getSResults.orderID#&TestID=#getSResults.testID#
and pulls the results I need..

but when I place it on another page I get this error:
Error Occurred While Processing Request
Element TESTID is undefined in URL.

The error occurred in E:\inetpub\wwwroot\TeamLink\laborders\lolist2.cfm: line 222
Called from E:\inet\wwwroot\testpage\testpage1.cfm: line 670
Called from E:\inet\wwwroot\testpage\testpage1.cfm: line 673
Called from E:\inet\wwwroot\testpage\testpage1.cfm: line 673

220 : AND tblDemo.ID=#url.id#
221 : AND tblTest.ID=#url.id#
222 : AND tblTest.testid=#url.testID#
223 : </cfquery>
224 :

what gives here?
thank you,
Nick

when you say
"but when I place it on another page I get this error"

What exactly do you mean by that?

Firstly you must have the var in your url
although the query may work in one page, referring to to the TestID, it may not work if you go to another page and the ?testID=#whatever# isn't there anymore

In the page you are request the url.testID
can you put <cfdump var="#url#">
and then try redoing it

paste us the URL in your address bar
the contents of the cfdump
and the query error its bringing up

because when its defined, its usually very very simple, in the fact that it just isn't there.
