Hi, When I enter Email address ,password and click to check mail, I get this error:

An exception occurred when setting up mail server parameters.
This exception was caused by: javax.mail.MessagingException: Connect failed; nested exception is: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect.

Where are you putting in the information? What is it logging you into? Mail, remote Application?

Are you sure you hav the proper username/password? Also that you are hitting the correct mail sevrer?

I find that when you have a typo in the email aor password it will keep going and going.. Put a timeout on the <cfpop> tag and then a cftry/cfcatch around it. Then on error display an error stating that they could not be logged in! Smile
