Hello,

I am having an issue with my cfdiv page. I am calling
the cfdiv with a bind statement. The page is working
but I noticed in firefox that the page is being called
twice. The first time the page is called, my cfc
function is returning a null value. The second time the
page is ran it is getting the correct results.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot the issue?

Thanks for the Support, Daniel

Ok so I have an update.

My problem is when I bind to a cfdiv, the page is
loading multiple times. I noticed in firefox that it is
reloading itself for each URL variable I pass and the
only one variable is being seen for each reload.

<cfdiv bind="url:partInfo_NewItem.cfm?thisval=
{partHidden}&QTY={newQtyHidden}&partID={newPartHidden}"
id="partInfo_NewItem"></cfdiv>

This is what Firefox is telling me:

partInfo_NewItem.cfm?
thisval=&QTY=&partID=77&_cf_containerId=partInfo_NewIte
m&_cf_nodebug=true&_cf_nocache=true&_cf_clientid=23BF2F
8E79C0E8CE53A5E52DB66E6D8E&_cf_rc=45

partInfo_NewItem.cfm?
thisval=77&QTY=&partID=77&_cf_containerId=partInfo_NewI
tem&_cf_nodebug=true&_cf_nocache=true&_cf_clientid=23BF
2F8E79C0E8CE53A5E52DB66E6D8E&_cf_rc=47

partInfo_NewItem.cfm?
thisval=77&QTY=1&partID=77&_cf_containerId=partInfo_New
Item&_cf_nodebug=true&_cf_nocache=true&_cf_clientid=23B
F2F8E79C0E8CE53A5E52DB66E6D8E&_cf_rc=48

In the end I get the values for all three variables,
but because I do not get all the values in the first
two variables passed the cfdiv fails.

Thanks for the Support, Daniel

I found the issue. I was calling a JavaScript file and
setting values to hidden fields. I was also doing a
"ColdFusion.Event.callBindHandlers();" after each value I
was setting. This was making the system call my cfdiv for
each variable passed.

Thanks for the Support, Daniel
