Hi,

I want to make an multilanguage website does anybody have an example or tutorial to set up an database for such a website

there has been more than 1 thousand views on this topic but nobody answers about a tutorial regarding the same

why ? is it so difficult ? dont you think there is enough people interested to make a tutorial ?

There are many ways you can achieve this..

I dont think there is a true, one "here is how" answer... because you can have in your table:

ID
Document_English
Document_Spanish

then load the approate field based on the language the user is on.. you can have a table that contains the "ENGLISH" data and then a separate tables that contains all your translated data (with an identifier that specifies the language (i.e. LanguageID) then you can do OUTER JOIN's to connect to the translated tables and output directly..

I think before an answer of "here is how to do it" is given, we would have to see what your needs were and how your current database is structured.
