Have a look at http://www.daydreaminc.com/calendar/index.cfm or http://www.coldgen.com they both have simply calendar/diary booking apps.

Yeah i am making some progress in building a scheduling application.  The suggested sites and tutorials helped, but ultimately i had to start from scratch.

If you need some help Maximos, let me know and i will see if i can help !

Hi, what you want is:
A calendar, click on a day and select a time, appointment made.
right?
Quite simple really, I sware. (I really do sware, my ancestors were sailors)

but in reality....

Problems to consider, it the booking an on-the-spot confirmed thing or can the doctor view the appointments then approve them.
What if they have to change the day/time? Can they edit? If so then you will need to add in a login/logout feature.
How will they be recognised? Get their record number from the patient records? I mean Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Jones may not be the same person.

What are your project requierments?
