Topic: Maintaining mySQL

I am new to mySQL, I'd like to know if there are utilities I can use to maintain mySQL database.

I've been using SQL/Server, once I open SQL/Server “Enterprise Manager” I can dive in into any table by using SQL Query Analyzer and do anything I want to maintain my database. However, I am being forced to use mySQL since one our CF websites uses mySQL db. Since I am new to mySQL, I’d like to know there are tools similar to “SQL Query Analyzer” I can use with mySQL to maintain my database.

I’d appreciate any input. Thank you.

I use mssql for most everything, but sometimes use MySQL.
The best one I've used is navicat:

Not free, but there's a free trial

Navicat is wonderful but you might want to try out HeidiSQL - http://www.heidisql.com/ I just started playing with it and so far like it a lot

You can check free tool Valentina Studio
http://www.valentina-db.com/en/valentina-studio-overview
which I think is far superior to other GUI tools.
